Hello and welcome to The Fiery Cauldron! My name is Dar Fletcher, and I am an artist from Victoria, BC, Canada. My art includes unique metal clay jewelry, both silver and bronze, as well as portraits and cards created in acrylic ink and paint.

As I live on Vancouver Island, I have an absolute love of the ocean and am fortunate enough to live within walking distance of beaches where I can comb for lovely colourful bits of sea glass that I can use in some of my jewelry.

My silver pendants are made from "silver metal clay," a malleable form of pure silver that allows me to create to my heart's content. As I have a background in ceramic clay I appreciate working with this delicate medium. Every firing is a delight.

I have a profound respect for the sea and Earth, and for all creatures that we share this wonderful world with, and I believe that my pieces reflect this. The themes in my jewelry are animal and ocean based and I hope to develop a spirit animal line as I grow.
